| TENNESSEE RIVER ADVENTURES The NAUTICAL WHEELER is docked at Joe Wheeler Resort Marina in Rogersville, Alabama. The entrance to Wheeler Resort is located on Hwy 72, just 23 miles west of Athens and 20 miles east of Florence. |
SCHEDULED NATURE CRUISES 1 HOUR CRUISE...............................$10/ $5(age 12 and under) (scenic shoreline of First Creek) 2 HOUR CRUISE..............................$15/ $10(age 12 and under) (round trip cruise to Wheeler Dam and First Creek) **Scheduled cruises will be posted on the boat and on this website. Also, at Joe Wheeler Resort lodge, marina, and campground store. Cancellations and schedule changes may occur due to weather conditions, or other circumstances. Notice will be posted on the boat and at the other locations, if time permits. 8 HOUR CRUISE............................$40 (Sorry, no kids under 12) *This cruise will include locking through Wheeler Dam (twice) and viewing wildlife and fabulous waterfront homes on Lake Wilson. We will cruise the north shore to Wilson Dam and dock at Fleet Harbor for a break. A free shuttle (optional) to the Marriott for lunch (not incl.) at the Bronzeback Cafe will be available. We'll return along the south shore and try to be back to Joe Wheeler Marina within 8 hours. We started this cruise last year in July and it is fantastic! The passenger limit is only 18 and scheduling is pending. If you're interested, we'll put your name on a list and notify you when a date is set. This trip is also available as a "reserved group tour". RESERVED GROUP TOURS (The maximum limit is 25 passengers) 1 HOUR CRUISE..................................$80 (up to 8 passengers) *plus $10/each add. passenger up to a max. charge of $180 2 HOUR CRUISE...............................$150 (up to 10 passengers) *plus $15/each add. passenger up to a max. charge of $285 *The maximum charge applies, even if your group loads the boat.
